There are numerous things that you can do in and around Romney Marsh, many of which are either suitable for, or, aimed at children. Please see the links below for family friendly activities that you may like to investigate at weekends or during the school holidays:

Action Watersports is a family run watersports centre, based in Lydd.
Jet ski and fly boarding require a minimum age of 16 years; there is no age restriction for the other activities.

Visit and learn about Alpacas at Alpaca Annie, based in Burmash.
Meet and greet is suitable for all ages. Older children may also be able do Trekking with Alpacas.

Port Lympne Reserve is a wild animal park, based in Lympne near Ashford.
This is suitable for the whole family.

There is a shingle beach at Dungeness and there are sandy beaches at Dymchurch, Greatstone and St Mary's Bay.
All ages can enjoy time spent on the beach.

Lathe Barn, at Burmash, has a children's farm and play area; you can bring a picnic or go into the tea room.
